Recently did a job for a DJ looking to update his look, Oli Kemp, it was a cool location in The Historic Dock Yards, Chatham. Apparently they filmed Shelock holmes there and the Golden compass. Some fantastic scenery, massive massive slips where they used to build the ships. So big in fact I drove my car in and built a mini studio. I would highly recommend a trip if you like big stuff.
Oli managed to borrow a mean looking car off a friend which added a little something to the proceedings, it was a blacked out something, these guys know there cars, newport imports. All i know was it had a six litre engine and a carbon fiber bonnet.
We did a load of images with the car in the back grounds and then a bunch of stuff on a white background that i had brought from the studio.
Hair and makeup was done by Louise at Strand Designs, I can't stress how important hair and makeup is. Blokes all seem to think they don't need it, but they do and Louise was excellent. Oli came alive on the white background and I could have shot him for hours and hours but by eight o'clock we'd done enough and set off happy.
